Podhoc 1.3.4 brings together the improvements since our August 1.3.0 release: more ways to explore other people’s podcasts, steadier creation from your own material and clearer choices across web and mobile.

Start with 10 free Discover podcasts

Every account gets 10 different public Discover podcasts to listen to for free, once per account for life. This is not a monthly allowance. Starting a qualifying full listen uses one place; replaying that same podcast stays free while it remains public. Listening to previews does not use the allowance.

Your counter follows your account across devices. A listening-history filter helps you find those episodes again. After your 10 choices, other podcasts follow the usual credit pricing shown before playback. Creating your own podcasts has its own credit cost. Make audio that fits your study session

We have improved how scripts aim for your chosen length, including checks when an episode runs too long. Duration is still a target, not an exact promise: the material, language and speaking style affect the result.

The References & Key Data Recall style, available on Creator and Pro, helps collect books, names and figures mentioned in a source. Verify them against the original before citing them. Our new medical study guide explains how to choose a narrator, a conversation or a sequence of separately created lessons. There are also practical guides for educators, publishers and teams turning existing reading into audio.

Fewer interruptions on phone and web

PDF processing on Android now sends the information the server expects, and generation handles temporary service problems more reliably. Mobile support requests also use the corrected submission flow. Car artwork handling has been repaired, and the app offers a clearer way to leave a store review.

Arabic and Russian journeys are more complete, alongside the existing website languages. Navigation, help pages and search links have been improved. Podhoc Digest also received fixes to its monthly delivery process.

Mobile changes require the corresponding app update. Store review and rollout can follow the website release, so check the version available on your device. Car displays vary; contact support if yours still behaves unexpectedly.

Clearer choices, with privacy in mind

We have tightened payment checks, email delivery controls and analytics privacy. Error reporting no longer uploads screenshots of your phone screen. Android’s advertising disclosures have also been updated.

This release prepares optional return offers for eligible accounts. An offer applies only when you receive it and the purchase screen confirms it. Availability depends on the platform and rollout; there is no automatic discount on ordinary purchases. Where offered, the claim deadline is two days and subscription discounts apply to the first payment only. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails.

Behind the scenes, better generation timing and usage records help our team investigate problems. They do not change your credit balance or publish your source material.
